We had trouble getting shorts again.we were lucky to get our overs Saturday trolled over the tree on the north side.  25 ,29 .lokked al over the lake could not find any others .

Got up early sunday.first  2 fish in the boat was over 30 in.  Went over to the south side points about 7:30 trolled nothing. Saw I guy in a warrior just thumping them. Well it did not take long to get our under's.  We must of picked brought in 20 more walleyes to get our six unders.  Even got a couple cats.30 t0 40 foot of water with cast masters did the trick.

This past week end there was the first 4 state regional walleye tournament. 100 team from WY. Co. NE. KA. . The 25 best teams from each state. Had 2 great day of walleye fishing  big mac had to offer. It took 39 1/2 lb. In 6 fish to win . That's close to a 6 lb average. Just to get in the money was 26.75 lb in 7 fish close to a 4 lb average. Big fish was over 12lb. With a lot of other 8,9 10 and 11 lb fish coming to the scales. The best part they were all put back in the water to be caught again. BIG MAC IS BACK !!!!

wasn't too sure how good the fishing would be due to the large amounts of rainfall the last week or so.  i started out working the wooded areas with a few different colored spinners with no luck as well as plastic critter baits.  no luck with jerk baits anywhere.  ended up catching 6 bass between 15 and 18 inches on a lipless crank, crawfish coloring, burning it around the leafy brush (dont know what it's called) more in the middle of the lake by drop offs, they were hard striking and ready to feed with the right bait
